  30. At bootup the system stopped and said "Version: Command failed"
  31. I typed version and it said Kickstart ver.40.68 Workbench ''
  32. failed.
  33. It was like Workbench itself, whatever that may be, was deleted.
  34. Also, random programs, such as commodities (click to front)
  35. would fail.  Fortunately, I could still type LOADWB and get to
  36. the WB and copy over all my software, but I could not boot form
  37. the HD.
  38. Also, I would always get "Workbench has a read error on block
  39. xxxx" reports on bootup.
  40.  
  41. I had to get the install disks and reinstall the OS!

  43. Stay away from DC-FFS on HDss!!!!!!!!!!
